Local folks have enjoyed the Windjammer over the years for many different reasons.  I remember the pre-Hugo “Jammer”, where my friends and I (and later my fiance’ and I) went to enjoy great bands.  It was a favorite hang out for the college and post college crowds. The first time I walked into the post Hugo Windjammer, since it had to be redone, I thought it wouldn’t be the same.  Besides, I was older, married with children.  But it still holds the same appeal.  It is a great place to hear a band on a Friday or Saturday night, or on a Monday night during the summer when they have their summer series.  They still have volleyball, still have bikini contests, still drawing great crowds.
