One of the most popular races in the Southeast, the Cooper River Bridge Run takes place this year on April 5, 2008.  It is a 10K, starting in Mt. Pleasant, winding across the Ravenel Bridge (with magnificent views of Charleston!), and ending downtown Charleston.  Last year, around 38,000 people participated.  If you’ve never been part of the festivities, now is the time to start training!
