Well, today it’s rainy and cold- about 39 degrees right now….so much for global warming?! The kids were disappointed that we didn’t actually get snow so that school would be canceled.  And yes, for those of you from snowy climates, schools close if there is only an inch of snow.  People don’t know how to drive in snowy, icy conditions.

It’s a great time for oyster roasts- There’s one tomorrow 2-5 pm, sponsored by the Charleston Museum (722-2996).

The SC Stingrays play tonight at 7:35- visit stingrayshockey.com

On Saturday and Sunday (9th and 10th), the Wizard of Oz musical is being performed at the North Charleston Convention Center. visit coliseumpac.com for tickets.

It’s also a great time to look at houses- if you’re in the market to buy a home, there’s a lot of inventory and interest rates are still low, AND there are some great deals to be had. We still have short sales and foreclosures.   Visit the MLS, choose the ones that you would like to see, then call your favorite realtor to schedule appointments.

If you need a list of short sales or foreclosures, please call me or email.

Have a great weekend!!!
